The current focus of oil and gas exploration and development is gradually shifting towards deep and ultra deep oil and gas reservoirs. These oil and gas reservoirs are mostly characterized by low porosity and low permeability, as well as high temperature (up to 200 ℃), high pressure (bottomhole pressure exceeding 160 MPa), and high H2S/CO2 content. The development conditions of oil and gas wells are extremely harsh. As an important means of improving single well productivity, acidification operations will still be widely applied in the development of deep and ultra deep oil and gas reservoirs. However, under high temperature and high acid concentration (20% hydrochloric acid concentration) conditions, the corrosion risk of acid on downhole tubing will be significantly increased.
The acidification of ultra deep and ultra-high temperature wells buried over 9000m and with a formation temperature exceeding 200 ℃ faces challenges such as high friction in the acid extension pipeline and high safety risks of pipe corrosion. Therefore, it is necessary to tackle the technology of ultra deep and ultra high temperature acid liquids (primarily focusing on the development of ultra high temperature acidification corrosion inhibitors involved in acidification operations).
At present, there is a lack of ultra-high temperature acid systems ranging from 200 to 230 ℃ both domestically and internationally, which leads to problems such as corrosion, perforation, and fracture of the tubing and difficulty in fracturing the reservoir during acidification operations under ultra-high temperature conditions.
Therefore, based on the technical difficulties encountered by high-temperature acidification corrosion inhibitors in the industry, our company has conducted scientific research and development. After several optimizations and improvements, we have finally successfully developed a high-temperature acidification corrosion inhibitor with a temperature of over 200 ℃, which has passed the indoor evaluation of PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company and received high praise from customers. Next, our company will further optimize product performance based on the customer’s on-site construction requirements, and prepare technical and product preparations for large-scale ultra-high temperature acidification on-site operation.
